The Panch Kedar Tour Package Details
The Panch Kedar refers to five sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. These temples are considered some of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus, particularly for those following the Shaivism tradition. The five temples are:
1. Kedarnath:
Located in the Kedarnath region, this is the most famous of the Panch Kedar temples. It is situated at an altitude of around 3,580 meters in the Himalayas and is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form as the "Lord of the Kedar valley."
2. Tungnath:
Situated at an altitude of 3,680 meters, Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world. It is located near Chopta in Uttarakhand and is dedicated to the arm of Lord Shiva.
3. Rudranath:
Rudranath Temple is located at an altitude of 2,286 meters in the Rudranath region of Uttarakhand. It is associated with the face (Mukha) of Lord Shiva and is known for its scenic beauty.
4. Madhyamaheshwar:
This temple is located at an altitude of 3,490 meters in the Madhyamaheshwar valley and is dedicated to the navel (Nabhi) of Lord Shiva. It is one of the most peaceful and less crowded among the Panch Kedar temples.
5. Kalpeshwar:
Situated at an altitude of 2,200 meters in the Kalpeshwar valley, this temple is dedicated to the matted hair (Jata) of Lord Shiva. It is the last of the Panch Kedar temples and is easily accessible among the five.

The historical name of this region is ''Kedar Khand''. Kedarnath temple is a part of Char Dhams and Panch Kedar in Uttarakhand and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India. Kedarnath is flanked by breathtaking snow-capped peaks, making it the most remote site among all four Char Dham Shrines . But each year the followers of Lord Shiva visit this holy temple. The scenic beauty of Kedarnath town attracts lots of tourists from all over the world. You will find it quite crowded during the summer season (May and June). In the month of April to August thousands of devotees come to visit the Kedarnath Temple. During Winter season , Kedarnath is closed for six month due to Heavy snowfall and Extreme Cold weather.
- RudraprayagThe famed town of Rudraprayag is named after the Rudra avatar of Lord Shiva. This heavenly town is encircled by the emerald lakes, glaciers, foaming rivers and silver streams. The pristine town of Rudraprayag is nestled on the holy confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, at 34 km from Srinagar (Garhwal). It is perched at an average elevation of 895 metres about 2,936 feet above sea level.Rudraprayag is one of the Panch Prayag or five confluences of Alaknanda River. Rudraprayag is blessed with nature's bounty, the climate of which depends upon the height of the region.
- GuptkashiGuptkashi is situated 47kms before the holy shrine of Lord Shiva, Kedarnath. It is located on the route to Kedarnath on a ridge on the west side of the Mandakini river valley at an elevation of 1,319mts above sea level. Guptkashi is a religiously important town of Uttarakhand as it houses ancient temples like Vishwanath temple and Ardhnareshwar temple.The centermost attraction of Guptkashi town, Manikarnika Kund is a place where two streams of the Ganga and Yamuna meet. Gaurikund, the town from where the trek to Kedarnath commences is situated 34kms ahead of Guptkashi. Guptkashi is situated on the mountain facing Ukhimath town.

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (230 km | 5–6 hrs)
Morning departure from Delhi by road towards Haridwar. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Har Ki Pauri and attend the divine Ganga Aarti on the banks of the River Ganga. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar - Guptkashi (210 km | 7 - 8 hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Guptkashi via Rudraprayag, enjoying scenic views of the Himalayan valleys and rivers along the journey. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 3: Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath
Early morning drive to Gaurikund (30 km). From here begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Upon arrival, visit the temple and attend the evening aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Kedarnath Temple (Hump of Shiva – Earthly Power)
At Kedarnath Temple, the most prominent of the Panch Kedar temples, Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of a bull’s hump (Nandi form). According to legend, when Shiva transformed into a bull to evade the Pandavas, Bhima tried to पकड़ him, and Shiva disappeared into the ground, leaving different body parts at various locations. The hump appeared at Kedarnath. This temple symbolizes immense spiritual strength and forgiveness, and it is believed that visiting Kedarnath absolves devotees of past sins and grants liberation.
Day 4: Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptkashi
Morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. Later trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 5: Guptkashi - Ransi - Madhmaheshwar
Drive to Ransi and begin the 16–18 km trek to Madhyamaheshwar Temple. Upon arrival, visit the temple and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Madhmaheshwar.
Madhyamaheshwar Temple (Navel of Shiva – Source of Creation)
At Madhyamaheshwar Temple, Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of his navel (Nabhi). Mythologically, the navel represents the center of creation and life energy. Surrounded by serene Himalayan landscapes, this temple signifies inner balance and the origin of existence. It is believed that worship here helps devotees connect with their inner self and attain spiritual harmony.
Day 6: Madhmaheshwar - Ransi - Chopta
Morning darshan at Madhyamaheshwar Temple. Later trek back to Ransi and drive to Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta
Day 7: Chopta - Tungnath - Chandrashila – Chopta
Early morning trek (4 km) to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and continue the trek to Chandrashila Peak for panoramic Himalayan views. Later trek back to Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Tungnath Temple (Arms of Shiva – Strength and Devotion)
The sacred Tungnath Temple represents the arms of Lord Shiva, symbolizing strength and action. It is the highest Shiva temple in the world, and reaching here signifies devotion and determination. According to mythology, Shiva’s arms appeared here when his body dispersed across the Himalayas. Worship at Tungnath is believed to give devotees the strength to overcome challenges and follow the path of righteousness.
Day 8: Chopta - Sagar - Rudranath
Drive to Sagar Village and begin the 20 km trek to Rudranath Temple through scenic meadows and dense forests of the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Rudranath.
Rudranath Temple (Face of Shiva – Divine Expression)
At Rudranath Temple, Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of his face (Mukha). This temple represents Shiva’s fierce yet compassionate aspect, known as Rudra. Surrounded by dense forests and meadows, the temple radiates a mystical aura. It is believed that devotees who reach here experience a direct connection with Shiva’s presence and receive his blessings for truth and clarity in life.
Day 9: Rudranath - Sagar - Joshimath
Morning darshan at Rudranath Temple. Later trek back to Sagar Village and drive to Joshimath. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
Day 10: Joshimath - Kalpeshwar - Rudraprayag
Drive to Kalpeshwar Temple located in the scenic Urgam Valley, followed by a short trek of about 2–3 km to reach the temple. Later drive to Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Kalpeshwar Temple (Jata of Shiva – Eternity and Liberation)
At Kalpeshwar Temple, Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of his matted hair (Jata). The Jata symbolizes the flow of the sacred Ganga and the eternal cycle of time. This is the only Panch Kedar temple accessible throughout the year. Mythologically, it represents liberation and continuity, and it is believed that worship here frees devotees from the cycle of birth and death
Day 11: Rudraprayag - Haridwar (160 km | ~6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar. The evening is free for leisure or for visiting nearby temples in the holy city. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 12: Haridwar - Delhi (230 km | 5 - 6 hrs)
Morning departure from Haridwar to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport/ railway station

The Panch Kedar Tour Package Terms & Conditions
- One can enroll His/Her name for the tour by paying 50% of the total tour cost for any tour as advance. The balance amount must be paid at least 45 days before schedule date of departure of the tour, without waiting for reminder from our side. We reserve the right to cancel the tour, alter the routes, carriers, time-tables, itinerary and accommodation without prior notice.
- Tourist travels at their own risk. Neither the tour operator nor their representatives or staff accept any liabilities or responsibilities for any damage, loss, injury, accident, death etc, during the tour howsoever it might have caused.
- It is necessary to book at least 120 days in advance before the schedule departure of the tour. We do not accept any responsibilities and liabilities for the railway tickets of the passengers who book with us for less than 120 days from the scheduled departure of the train. If we have to make any alternate arrangement, then the extra cost of making alternate arrangement should be borne by the passengers only.
- Berth Nos. & Coach Nos. of Railway Tickets are allotted by the computer and therefore passengers have to accept as they are given.
- There will be NO SERVICES & MEALS DURING TRAIN / BUS JOURNEYS.
- Any increase in Air / Bus Fares should be borne by the passenger only.
- We have published the names of the Hotels for each tour, even though we reserve the right to change the same, if the accommodation is not available in the Identified / Specified Hotel for the particular package tour due to reasons beyond our control. We shall make all our best efforts to shift the passengers to the Hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standards. No refund will be allowed when we have provided alternative / similar accommodation. The rooms shall be allotted as per the check-in time of the respective Hotels, and they shall have to be vacated as per the check-out time of the Hotel.
- The management reserves the right to take all necessary steps including suspending the passengers who creates trouble for the management or to the other fellow passengers.
- If due to any reason beyond our control like riots, accidents, flood, political unrest, bandh calls or any natural, or man made calamities, the tour programme needs to be changed or extended, then the additional expenditure for the same will be borne by the passengers. If any passenger has to leave the tour mid way due to any reason, then there shall be no refund for the remaining part of the tour and the expenses for returning back shall also be borne by the passengers only.
- If due to any reason beyond our control, we have to cancel some sight seeing places, there shall be no refund for the same. If a tour is cancelled from our part then the cost and responsibility of organising the new tour will be of passengers only.
- Any complain regarding our services like Hotels, Bus, etc, passengers are advised to inform our office immediately by Phone / Fax so that the same can be re-addressed on the spot, no complains or refund for the same be entertained after completion of the tour.
- Any dispute / claims subject to Surat Jurisdiction.
- Any change / additional Govt. Service tax levied must born by the passengers.
- Timings mentioned in the itinerary for the Bus / Flight journey are estimated only. There are frequent chances of delay in arrival / departure at destination due to various reasons.
- Postponement of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation and accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.

- Child (5-11 yrs) with extra bed rate will be given only mattress in the parents room. Child up to 4 years will not be given any extra bed and no seats in train and bus.
- There will be NO refund for any unutilized service on the tour.
Liability:-
- We are Travel Agent and Holiday Organizers only and act as an agent for clients on one side and the operator of the various facilities on the other side in the best interest of the clients. We do not own any Hotel & do not operate or control any Airlines, other services like transport services / guides, Although we try our best to arrange and render best services yet we do not hold any responsibility on any account whatsoever of the performance of the Hotels, Airlines, Guide Services, Transport Services, opening of the sightseeing places, other services or anything else on which we do not have direct control. We do not bear any responsibility & shall not be liable, whatsoever for any dissatisfaction, loss of life and property, death, damages etc. Caused by the act or default or management or employees of such independent contractors and also any consequences arising out of natural calamities, strikes, breakdown and facilities, accidents, negligence, delay in services of all concerned and for any act of omission or inconveniences caused in connection with the travel facility etc. We shall not be responsible for any loss / damage / claim / financial compensation and any liability in any form / in any respect and on any account whatsoever. It is advisable to take comprehensive insurance including illness, accidental or anyother events.
Cancellation Charges:-
- If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated hereunder.
- Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation
- Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
- Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
- Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
