Kohima is the scenic hilltop capital of Nagaland, India, sitting at an altitude of 1,444 meters in the Naga Hills. Originally an Angami Naga village named Kewhira, it is famous for the historic World War II Battle of Kohima and as the gateway to the stunning Dzükou Valley.
